WestBend

In the spring of '98 Kevin arrived at Brad's house unexpectedly with his guitar. Kevin started to play his guitar and Brad jumped on his drum kit. The two jammed and within a hour they had came up with their first song. Later in the week, Kevin and his good friend Mike who also plays guitar put vocals to the music and called the debut song clouded perception. Kevin then found a basest, Jeremy, he added the bass lines and the song was said and done. They then played the song at their high school's year end assembly. The band was doing very well, they were receiving lots of positive feedback. In the summer of '98 the whole band was over at Brad's house, along with Brad's friend. The band was trying to create a new song, they got as far as the first verse when Jeff gave some advice on how they could put the rest of the song together. Well, Kevin loved the advice given by Jeff and figured he could be a part of the band as well, so he asked him if he could sing. Jeff took Kevin up on his offer and he was the new lead singer of the band, with this Mike decided he would stick to guitar. Jeff then went home and started practicing vocals for the song, as well as writing some of his own lyrics for possible future songs. And with that "WestBend" was formed!
